Hacking Gameboy Advance 3DS boot screen?

As of right now I have a New 3ds XL running arm9loaderhax on 11.2. I've been wondering if there is any way I could get a custom boot screen on start up instead of the traditional 3DS one? I thought a Gameboy advance startup would be awesome.

If using Luma there is an option to use the GBA boot splash.

"Splash: Off(x) Before( ) After ( ) payloads"
Or
"( ) Show GBA boot screen in patched AGB_FIRM"which says that it will show GBA boot screen when booting GBA games.

you mean like on the PSP where you have custom launch animations? i don't think that's a thing yet, but there is BootAnim9, which gives an actual boot animation

That's because it's only for booting GBA games. I don't think you change the 3DS logo when you boot a 3DS game.

Oh alright I see, now when I start my 3DS up with the power button it goes straight to home menu without Nintendo 3ds boot screen. Idk what happened there

You aren't supposed to see the 3DS boot screen when powering on the system. That's never been a thing.

Really? I'm so confused rn. I'm talking to a friend rn who has a New 3ds on OFW 11.0 waiting for the new downgrade method, and he said his boots with the logo on startup. Lmao I don't remember if it did or not, it's been a while

It never boots with the logo. The logo only appears when you boot 3DS games. Your friend is a very confused man.

Uh, that's the start up screen for a New 3DS that either hasn't been set up before or was recently formatted. I want a longer video of it booting to the Home Menu.

Or it's a complete fake and he has a hacked system.

So he cant know if it is on 11.0!!!!!!1111!!!!! Tell your friend to finish the setup, without connecting to anything wifi related, including wifi.
