anyone have any luck with madden 10 ? I followed the instructions but keep getting cannot decrypt games eboot.

This eboot is from the umd, am I suppose to take the umd out before launching the decrypter program?

What step are you on? was it before you dumper your game or after?

Following this guide:
1)Install the decrypter on the psp/game/xxxx
2)use UMDgen, open the ISO, and go extract eboot.pbp
3)put that extracted eboot.pbp into the root of the psp ms
4)boot psp, open decrypter and follow it's instructions
5)put the new eboot.pbp (on psp's ms, root/decryptor) into the ISO using UMDgen
6)save as .iso (takes about 1 to 6 min)
7)put the new iso into the psp's iso folder.

I get stuck just after step 4. I put the eboot.bin
crap just noticed that the guide says eboot.pbp not eboot.bin.

I can't find eboot.pbp on the iso that I just pulled from the umd.

is the eboot.pbp a hidden file?

any chance someone could post the eboot.pbp or eboot.bin file for madden 10 for me? thanks!

Thank you nIxx, I don't know how to do this. Perhaps a batch file to do the command will make things easier.

Okay here http://www.mediafire.com/?zjgttjnlzti Persona patch with batch file
unpack everything in the iso dir rename the iso file to original.iso and start patch.bat
as said before UMD ISO Mode set to Sony NP9660
I´m using a PSP 1004 with 5.50 GEN

QUOTEcrap just noticed that the guide says eboot.pbp not eboot.bin.

EBOOT.BIN is right !

EBOOT.BIN is right !

I don't know what I'm doing wrong then, I tried the eboot.bin put that in the root of the memory card, launched the decrypter on the PSP, pressed x within the prompt, gets to the third line then says cannot decrypt eboot.bin

I wonder if it's a flaw since I'm using Windows 7.

windows 7 doesn't matter since it's done on psp, and as for transfering files, i use w7 myself so I don't think that's what's causing it. Try it with a different UMD/ISO and see if you get the same results. It might be the game you're trying to do = bad copy

I just tried Gran Turismo (not an umd though), and i was able to decrypt the bin file, but the iso didn't work, I got a black screen when loading the game. Obviously I'm doing something wrong, I didn't do the version.txt file, I will try that. otherwise I don't have another umd of a newer game. I am getting Gran Turismo on the 1st, so I will wait till then.

Could someone explain the filelist.txt trick to me, I am not sure I understand.

Do you export the file list and then import it? Where does it go on the PSP

Great great great thread!

Just letting you know that Dirt 2 PSP USA doesn't work after decrypting on m33-6.

I get an, "This game could not be started" error on boot.

Export it from the clean iso. AFTER you've replaced the decrypted eboot.bin, import the filelist, then recompile the iso.

So has anyone gotten this to work on cfwe 3.6 or 5.03 GEN-A?

I have a psp 3000 and have tried the filelist thing, I'm doing it all correctly as far as I can tell.
Does this even work on Gen-A or cfwe 3.6?

It's suppose to be run on 5.50 gen series, best with b2 I think. Other firmware versions may or may not work for some games. best bet is to boot it from 5.50b2. I have m33 as well, but most of them doesn't boot under that firmware.

I'm in the same position sadly. I've tested 3 games, using multiple drivers and everything. Persona, Gran Turismo, Disgaea, none of them have worked for me....ah...black screens...BSOD (black screen of death)

So I'm pretty much boned?
Gen-B doesn't run on 3000 as far as I know

What did you guys do to get Disgaea 2 to work on M33-6?

I've tried it tons of times and always get a black screen, I've disabled all plugins and tried the filelist trick, and I've even used a pre-patched ISO.

I have a UMD in the drive and have tried different drivers.

This sucks.
