Hello...

I offer to you a new way to work and help about these three files we need

My idea is to use "TTdT" to take or compare the code of EACH game

And after that we can save the three (or two files) separately for EACH Game in a ZIP File

Like this -> http://tootiny.net/6wxahh

When we fix a game, we can keep it easily
and when a new release of these 3 games come out,
if we have a problem about one game already fixed,
we can compare the code to find where is the mistake!

I will keep all the game "DAT" file on a special website

Tell me what do you think?

Rough English but

so TTdT can compare hex values in games?
Then once we know we add to the .dats,so if one makes a mistake we just fix it?Make a clearer translation please

or just pm me

Maybe you need to try TTdT before post here?!

Yes it can compare files, so you can open a "extinfo.dat" with a lot of code,
and open another "extinfo.dat" with only the code about the game who interests you

That's the idea

I tried the old versions(b1 and b2,not b3),also i said games,not extinfo.dat(which you were vague about)

So,this means someone would make several extinfo.dat's and distribute them to (you) then you will add them to the bigger list?

You want an organized extinfo.dat

Edit:I got it now, suggestion:learn a bit of grammar more

that way its easier to understand you

no, i wish to know when a game was fixed,
the name of the game, etc...

And with these three, when a game is fixed, it is fixed for ever...

So we can keep clearly the code for each game,
it can be useful in many way to work like that...

It's not a bad idea... It's just a bit of work.

If anyone is interested, I've already uploaded a 'build your own' starter pack: http://www.mediafire.com/?qzjzgn3qwzj
It has extinfo / infolib / infolib (alt) / savlib files from a few different sources.
"infolib (alt)" is a small group of alternate files that were different than what I had been using in the past.

The files come from my old files + Denieru7's Weekly Infolib + Pong20302000's 1.82.
It should be noted that the files I have linked are outdated. I uploaded them on 2010-04-07.

it is not to build our own files,
it is first, to help "release maker" !!!

If we test a game that do not work,
we can check if a "fix" code exist, download it and compare the code from the fix code
with the code from a new release

The intention is to solve the problem like whe had with some games,
who work with an old release but not with a new release

Remember "(B7WP) 4672 - 7 Wonders II (EUR)"

That "problem" was that there was NO ENTRY for the game.
The people releasing updates were not including the U/E games and had used files that did not include that game.

It is not true, if they have some feedback and testers,
they can release some code for us...

Some of them come here to read what we talking about,
so, it is not a problem to work, all together...

It is my goal
