Start reading, guys.

PRO TIP OF THE DAY: You dont have to bend anything, to short two pins. Turns out electricity flows through other things than just pins (screwdrivers, metal thingies, your head, ...) that can be used to - temporarily - bridge the gap.

So if that's the case, we don't even need to open the Joycon. Then we all can test Fusee Gelee, we just exactly need to know what to now instead lol

Never lol a banned user. It hurts. (Spoken from experience.. ;) )
Okay :D Anyway do you know what caused the ban? Just curious. :)

On the other things you wrote: I'll have my cup of tea and wait patiently then. For now I'm enjoying ScummVM and pFBA very much. :)

Also I swear I will give up on humankind - as soon as people start selling joycons with prebent pins on ebay.
I'm almost sure this will happen (remember there are around 20 million hackable consoles out in the wild) and I even know people who would buy it. :D

I have one of those little adapters (Micro USB to USB C) from my Galaxy S8+ and the other cable from my Pro Controller. Guess I'm all set. :)

Have anyone actually tried the payload using windows 10 with the python libraries installed to see what happens?

Also to any dev out there, is anyone thinking to make a android version of this so we can send the payload trough our smartphones\tablets.

Anyway I don't think any android device I have will work as I have Sony Xperia Z2 and Nvidia Shield Tablet, none have USB 3.0 so I don't think any will have the Xhci ;).

ps: But would be nice to be able to do it on-the-go using nothing but our phone that goes with us everywhere in our pocket :grog:.

I'm sure that they are thinking about how they can make the exploit less dependent on having a fully fledged PC and a cable at hand every time you boot the system.. ;)

(Any little bit helps.. Getting rid of the tethered part, REALLY helps.. ;) There might be a better solution than even an Android Phone. Hopefully. :) )

Remember, the current releases are not enduser focused. :)

If you look at the code you see it will complain that there is "no backend for your OS" and quit.
(actually, I should take a look again to quote that sic.)

Exactly! I had to remake Linux VMs half a dozen times due to compatibility problems with VMWare and/or needing to do so many meticulous steps by hand after researching each wall I would hit. I finally got a good VM set up that includes the toolchains to compile payloads. Now I wait...
