Someone said Guitar Fun PC version. Is there a source code out for that yet?

basename: extra operand `(file directory here)'
Try `basename --help' for more information.
make: make: Command not found
make: *** [build] Error 127

I guess I messed up something? I din't edit the code only the images. so I can't compile/build?

wat did you edit on the sprites?

yea, go retro, ill be making a retro skin, cause i feel like it!

I did get the C and H files for them though, and can you know why that showed or not?

well, you have a Guitar Hero On tour gem theme.

I want to make my own as a old looking retro style skin.

Like, how can I fix the error?I did rid of the files and install it again.

that would be good having more than one look to it might bring more people to download it

oh ok i see. just make your sprites (and make sure there in the same order as mine top=unpressed middle=pressed bottom=notehit) and make sure you call the green fret sprite green and the red one red ect. and put the files you get from PAGfx into the gfx2 folder in the source folder.

If you can't translate from Python to C, chances are you still aren't that much into programming, and I would definitely recommend against attempting to try making it yourself (A game that is).

else wise, if you're just going to port something, have fun, and if it's in C there isn't much to port.

NO! That's not what I mean wazmo, I used your script to test it, and just change the sprites, exactally the same name.

oh now i see. hmmmm thats weird that you would get that error. im not sure why you got that error but if you give me a copy of the sprites I could try to put them in.

by the way i found the guitar fun source and its written in C so im having a look at the code to see if theres anything we can use out of it.

That's the red I made, it's just a simple recolor, maybe I'll also work on a Rockband style maybe, and GH3. Just ask, maybe I could try, but not now! It's midnight here! Zzz...

Wow, the red didn't show that good due to the magenta... Here's a blue too! ^^

I don't know palib or any other kind of code or anything, but I'd still really like to help with this. So, I got to thinking, "How could I help?". That's when I realized that I could help make the sprites. I know my way around paint and photoshop rather well. Anyways, if I got your guys' approval, I would be very interested in making any and all sprites needed for this game.

I'm going to make my own version of the gems, just to let you guys see if you like my sprites. I hope you do, because I really want to help with this. Be back in a little while.

EDIT: TahDah! Here are the green buttons I just finished. I hope you like them.

If you want me to do more of them, just say the word and I'm there. Thanks.

That's okay with me! We'll credit anybody who makes a skin as long as it isn't very cheap. Thanks wazmo, but I think I should fix up something on them.

Ooh, cool, thats a neat gem. Go ahead and make more, but they have to be made off a certain kind of tempalete, but I think I'll fit them. I want to see more, and maybe Star Gems?

Yup, I said yes, and I'll get them fixed up to get them on the correct format and all.

(hey, umm... Why not make a guitar to go with the skin, I'll try and work on a retro look on the menus and all too!)

As far as I know, Star Gems haven't been implemented in any GH clone. Guitarfun kinda did it, but it was different.

And, if you just scaled the originals, it probably wouldn't look too good.
