like to explain what it is.
EDIT: k found out. Frets of Fury for DS. Pretty good idea. It wouldn't explain what your talking about on the main post so people can know with out having to leave the site.
exelent a brand new Topic. just incase you dont get this message in the old topic
yah you need to convert them with PAGfx. if you already have Devkitpro then you'll find it in PAlib/Tools/PAGfx
Ya, I got it.
dinofan01, it's a homebrew for the DS that let's you have custom songs and using the Guitar Grip, it is still being worked on and don't expect anything soon.
to reply to your question in the old forum. I used HAM.
LOL I found it alot easier to use cause you just have to click F5 and it Compiles a .NDS file. I think I'll download the Frets On Fire Source and look through it to see if I can figure out how it uses the .mids then maybe we can base our code off that.
I just realized how hard it is going to be for your guys. To make a song with only four buttons means you have to make your own hard and expert levels of the songs.
Yeah, and I'm not sure if someone load a 5 fret song I don't know what would happen.
crap Frets on Fire is written in Python. does anyone know an open-source frets on like game thats written in C?
Wazmo, I suggest you make the transparent color magneta on the sprites, because if someone adds a background the black will be transparent.
ok I'll do that.
Umm, I'm trying to build it, but it gives me: 'make' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
It used to work...
I believe Guitar Fun (the PC version) is open source. Also, you could always use the R button or something as an orange button. With only four buttons, you would either have to create all new songs for it or only be able to use easy and medium charts for FoF. Guitar Fun supports charts from FoF also.
really? wat operating system are you using because i found that it didn't work on my Vista but it did work on my XP. and when you installed PAlib did you use just the installer or the comunity update because i got the same error when i used the community update but when i used just the installer it worked.
Python is kickass. Too bad you can't use it for homebrew.
I used the community update, so if I want to reinstall I get get rid of what, I delete what files, everything except devkitpro, so I have no community update?
delete PAlib, PAlibDoc Eng, PAlibDoc Fr, PAlibExamples, and PAlibTemplate then install PAlib with the installer not the community update and see if that helps.
Is there anything I can do to help? I'm bored, and do to a certain... Problem which I am not going to say, I can't sleep.
hey im not sure if its open source but have you tried guitar zero?
