Hello everyone.

Whenever I try to load up a game using both USB Loader GX and Configurable USB Loader, my Wii freezes after both apps have loaded the game. To go in dept, my screen is black and my Wii Remote shuts down and I have to manually shut down my Wii.

Here is my sys check;

you don't need the updater if you know how to use cIOS installer homebrew.
http://www.mediafire.com/download/5ggh53tj9hhp1tr/d2x-cios-installer-3.1-v6-v7-v8-v10-wii.7z

you currently have old cIOS.
IOS249[56] (rev 20 Info: rev 20): Flash Access, NAND Access
IOS250[38] (rev 20 Info: rev 20): Flash Access, NAND Access

you need to update to at lease rev21 d2x v8
IOS249[56]
IOS250[57]

in the installer, choose this:
d2x v8
slot 249
base 56
version 21008

and

d2x v8
slot 250
base 57
version 21008

if you don't know how to use the installer, you can use modmii to update all your softmod.

Use the ModMii syscheck updater.

I did. I used the Multi-Mod Manager it gave me and installed all the WADs, but I'm still getting the same result. According to the guide ModMii downloaded, I don't need to reinstall HBC if it has IOS58, which it has. Should I still run the HackMii installer to reinstall HBC?

no you don't need to reinstall HBC or IOS58.
You need to install IOS249 and IOS250.

install all the wads modmii downloaded, as you have a bad console's hack.
it will replace all your system files with correct versions. (never use pimpmyWii, CIOSCorp or DarkCorp, thanks)

I istalled the IOS's and now I'm running SSBB on Neogamma, however when I try to use Ocarina codes (They're saved in a GCT file in the folder codes on the root of my sd card) my game freezes on the stage selection screen. Trying to run Brawlex.

Does Ocarina require a different ios or is there another way to load cheat codes with Neogamma?

What's happening now with Neogamma is it doesn't load my GCT codes (it says "No patch found)

I then try the USB Channel and it says the same thing, and it freezes on the stage selection screen. It also freezes even when I have Ocarina turned off.

don't use neogamma (which is 5 years old, not updated anymore).
current loaders : Wiiflow, CFG Loader, USBLoaderGX, PostLoader

could you post a new syscheck so we can be sure everything is fine?

Bear in mind I reverted back to the Ios i had earlier to go back to regular brawl, and that freezes after I leave the Result Screen. That still happened before I went to Project M 3.5, and when I installed project m 3.5 it worked fine.

You are using these two IOS:
IOS249[37] (rev 21008 Info: d2x-v8final): Flash Access, NAND Access
IOS250[37] (rev 20 Info: rev 20): Flash Access, NAND Access

249 is d2x v8 (it's good, it's in fact rev21 mod8)
250 is revision 20 (it's old and not recommended to use this version)
both slots are using base37.

it's usually recommended to install this instead:

249 : d2x v8 base 56
250 : d2x v8 base 57

base56 is both fast and reliable for most games.
base57 has more compatibility but is a little slower to access USB.

You need to reinstall a custom IOS (cIOS), because the one you currently have are either old or fake (nintendo installed a fake IOS to prevent you launching backups from USB).

use the same installer I linked above.
install d2x v8, base 56 in slot 249
install d2x v8, base 57 in slot 250

it should work now.

i installed them, but its still not working , and btw every time i open configurable usb loader it starts auto loading from the usb and it tells me what ios to select to load default is 248, i try changing it to 249, then pressing a then the usb or sd load pops out, i select SD, then select super smash bros brawl and when its loading it, i noticed at the final it says ios blocked 248.

Delete the config file of your loader, it will generate a new one with default values. Preferably update to the latest version first, too.

i only left the files in the app folder for cfg, now everytime i open it it asks me usb or sd, how i like it, but now i got a usb formatted to wbfs with super smash bros brawl in it and i got an sd with brawl split into 2 files of 4gb or less, both arent working, the wbfs one loads faster but at final it still says ios 248 blocked and it goes black screen, same for the sd one, tho in the sd one, when i press the brawl cover icon it lags a bit. but same error overall, blackscreen.

EDIT: now the wbfs usb brawl works but only if i put hook type VBI.

Why are you using WBFS? Switch to FAT32, WBFS is legacy.

250 : d2x v8 base 57

base56 is both fast and reliable for most games.
base57 has more compatibility but is a little slower to access USB.
that's why users prefer to install base56 for their general use (90% of games) and select the slot250 only for problematic games like Call of duty or musical games.

You an find the installer here, it's easy to replace the cIOS, just install the new one over.

Sorry for the late reply, I'll get around to installing it pretty soon

You should update the 360 to newest dash before RGHing it yes. But not a big deal if you don't, you can install new dash/avatar updates after. It's just easier to do it auto online before, instead manual offline after.
