1st, freeShop was taken down for having that Nintendo 3DS Logo when you boot it up, so CIAngel just needs to change one variable in the buildtools like @Steveice10 did for FBI

Nintendo DMCAing the free shop and Pokemon prism has done nothing. Since Pokemon prism was leaked and there's cia angle. People will still illegally download from their servers no matter what. Nintendo you should just give up and stop DMCAing people's stuff. Free shops not a problem for me it was Pokemon prism. Since I was looking forward to that now the ROM hack won't get any updates thanks to Nintendo.

I didn't say there wasn't any copyright-like laws in France though. But our law is still a bit less strict and stupid than the American DMCA

CIAngel came out first, but FreeShop isn't based on it. There's also a chance that at some point Nintendo will DMCA CIAngel, but if they do, we'll just find somewhere else to put it.

FreeShop was not just taken down for "having that Nintendo 3DS Logo", I don't get why nobody here has reading comprehension. There were 3 points made in the DMCA request, all 3 of which could apply to CIAngel, only 1 of which could apply to most other homebrew:
1) "the application circumvents Nintendo's technological protection measures in violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act". Now, this to me is bullshit, but the DMCA is also the stupidest shit the USA has ever implemented, so thanks for the America.
2) "The freeShop application also contains unauthorized copies of the Nintendo 3DS Logo Data file". This could cover pretty much any homebrew at this point.
3) "the files located at the links below violate the GitHub Terms of Service by facilitating the theft of Nintendo's games from its eShop servers". I mean, they're not wrong, it can facilitate that, but so can Chrome, or torrent clients, file downloaders, etc.

They can't just give up. If they don't protect their copyrights, they could enter the public domain and anyone could make money off of them with no permission.

Yep! I can! Try clearing out the cache by selecting "Refresh cache". It should re-download all the images and text from the Nintendo eShop servers again.

But if that doesn't work, perhaps your enctitlekeys.bin is corrupted. Try downloading a new one.

Nah, they haven't. I can download Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS right now, and it works.

Yeah, just the github repository was DMCA'd and taken down. The app still runs fine for everyone.
