Gaming Free MMORPG Games?

I have paid for WoW in the past, but am not an active player. So wanna try something free.
I play only now and than, not that much time...
Games I have tried and dont wanna play:
Maple Story (Too kiddy...)
Silkroad (God would give me a billion $ but I wont be able to connect to Silkroad servers...)

Trickster Online or Rapplez are quite good i mean most Free MMORPG constice of alot of grinding when you hit lvl 30-50 i played trickster ages ago but then stopped (GOT Bored of MMORPGs stuck with turnbased and slasher Rpgs like FF and Secret of Mana)

Yep. Pretty much the only free MMO that isn't a knock off of some kind is this. And the expansions are free as well if I recall.

Anarchy Online is hard to start out in. Its a huge world and everyone is super high level. Also, once you get past the tutorial, it gets hard to determine where to go. Still a good game for being free now.

Rapelz isnt a bad game for being free either, although its been a while since I played it.

try cabal online, sword of the new world (SotW), rising force (RF) online.

all of the above are free. u can pay to maximize ur gameplay and most of the are about grinding.

Agree to disagree. But remember this thread is clearly asking for FREE MMORPGS. Don't drive it off with ones that aren't.

I'm pretty sure Shin Megami Tensei IMAGINE is free, but it's in Japanese.

If you can get past the moonspeak and the moonrunes it's a pretty fun game.

I agree with reilina about the CABAL Online. It's a pretty fun game, yet it has some issues.

But really it's just a matter of this:

WoW is not worth it's monthly fee. Other MMOs follow it like FPS games try and follow Halo.

Tales of Pirates isn't that bad, used to play it a while back and it was free then not sure about now though.

I can't even get it to install on Vista! Not to derail the thread, but any help? It just freezes at the "Please Wait" screen, even if I set it to run as an administator.

EDIT: I got it to install, but now I can't connect to a server, all "crowded", I'll try again tomorrow.

I would seriously give RuneScape a decent chance, especially if you like crafting in a game. RuneScape has many crafting skills and is a pretty deep system bested by only Starwars Galaxies and in 1 or 2 areas, maybe WoW, but is still fun.

I been playing RF Online the past few months and it's really cool.. Good high lvl ppl who help newbs and such.. SO give it a try.. ;D Well worth it.
