I've been claiming all the free games from Epic Games, Uplay, Origins (rarely) and Steam (stopped bothering cause the free games were kinda meh).

The fact that PC gaming has multiple game launchers is unfortunate because that means more logins you have to note down and the games while, they're yours "forever", you need an account (and be online, possibly) to access them. Much like digital games on Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox.

It is a free game thread, and possibly some people out there (yours truly included) comes over to this forum from a phone or other computer without EGS or other client, and the heads up is always nice.

For Epic Games, I usually visit Hot UK Deals to check up on it, but those guys post it way ahead of time making me forget when it's time to claim it.

They do it because they upvotes (like Reddit) and for them that's somehow important. It definitely is for the Experts which are basically employees of theirs.

I loved that game! Not a fan of the Bethesda launcher (reason below)

Rockstar at one point was giving away GTA SA, there was a catch.. use their own game launcher. :-/ There's already a ton of launchers as it is.

you should check out Geforce now from nVidia, the free version lets you play for an hour on anything, I haven't tried it but apparently it runs fine even from a phone, I actually have used it to play Path of Exile on a atom tablet no problem. it also to my knowledge has full support from Ubisoft meaning all of their games play on it, and a good chuck of epic games, including a lot of the free ones.

you should look into playnite, it's an aio launcher that incorporates all the games from all the launchers into one easy to use launcher that closes yous team, origin, etc when not in use. Also free and open source

I heard about this and it's a great idea, thing is, having too many logins isn't ideal. I mean, I can store them so it's not a big deal, but you get it.

I actually had multiple PlayStation Store accounts and lost the spare ones due to forgetting the password. No chance I'd buy games from several countries either.

I am using gog galaxy for that. Does the job well enough for me.
