GOG is having a giveaway of sorts for it's 10 year anniversary where you vote for one of three games and the one that gets the most votes is available for free for a short time. The games available are Shadow Warrior 2, SUPERHOT and Firewatch. I highly suggest going for Shadow Warrior 2 as it's a much longer game, with more content, more complete experience overall, plus it's the most expensive of the bunch costing almost as much as the other two put together... for me it's extra nice seeing how I already have the other 2 and really liked the SW1 remake.

I know it won, already grabbed it, but didn't want to bump the thread just for it. I also have the other two from giveaways too, the SW1 remake also was paired with Viscera Cleaning Detail which is pretty fun

Apparently the negative reviews almost all came from a dev mistake doing something on accident that was fixed, so they are giving it away like this to get more players.

dota 2 a good ftp (why hasnt anyone mentioned??????)
soul worker a new mmo im obsessed with, also ftp but heavily relies on grinding money for cosmetics nothing afaik is hidden behind a paywall story and progressionwise.
pso2 (phantasy star online 2) is also really good ftp, however requires a prolonged japanese sign up so if ur willing to go through that.. gl chief.

Because this thread is for games that are paid and TEMPORARILY go free, not for every free game out there, the list would be endless! Seriously people, read the OP, how much clearer can it be? Or from what is posted...

Things that went free permanently recently are just past the borderline of ok for here if they aren't really big and well known games. I will allow this one because it looks fairly decent so some people may like it. Thread isn't really too strict, it's just that people come and think this is a suggestion thread or something... or are listing games everyone knows are free that are permanently free anyways. Even dropping a Steam key for a game if you want to get rid of 1-2 is fine on here really, again, not trying to be strict, just to keep the thread a bit clean and focused is all...

Here is a better link with details regarding Destiny 2, it seems that you can claim the standard edition and keep it forever (just claimed on my account and appears as standard edition), however I do not have enough hdd space or a powerful video card to run it. Enjoy.
