Like with other GameSessions freebies, you need an account then you play through a mini-client. I don't get them since it's too much trouble having to download before it expires then play for 5 mins, especially since I have shit internet so a game like SE3 would take a full day, so can't really help you there, but do try and get it and if it's too much of a pain for you, just bail:P
and to answer the most important question, its not reedemable in steam or gog or similair.
you get the game into the gamesessions account with their own client thing.
not worth the hassle i rather just pirate it ;O;

edit: woa.... so basically, i am way better if i pirate the game, i dont get the drm thing in the pirate version and you get the same features pratically:

thanks, always love some gog freebies <3
Same, plus that one is one of the good old Lucas Arts games from the 90s, meaning guaranteed quality! Too bad they never remastered Outlaws though... This and Grim Fantango are some of the best games of all time alone with Outlaws, yet that one is always forgotten even though it's easily the best far-west-style FPS!:( But anyway, I highly suggest trying this one out, Lucas Arts had amazing plots/stories in their games back then!

i've Witcher1-3 on STEAM, how to claim the backup copy for gogcom?
I think you are talking about GOG Connect.

Edit: I think there's another way to have Witcher 1 and 2 redeeming your steam key but I can't share links. Try to google "Redeem backup PC copy Witcher".

What? What do you mean exactly?:/
IF you have purchased Witcher franchise, gog.com offers a free copy of said game on their library.

just for once i managed to claim The Witcher 1 on gog.com, but it was 5 years ago and i've never heard about it, all i did was copy my cdkey to unlock it, but i've just tried the Witcher2's steamkey on gog, but no luck..... things maybe have changed.

Was about to post that, then thought to myself whether it really was worth it... Meh "game" after a while, not really worth having yet another DRM to worry about
True, although as a test, i copied the game to a USB Drive and while its not powerful enough to "run the game well" it does in fact run without the Epic Launcher so it IS DRM free, at least Subnautica is anyway.

@ThoD : There were 2 Games from back in the 90s that are no Longer available anymore. I did contact the Devs, and for 1 of them, they did not have the Source anymore. So the Copy I have, is Demo unless someone can find the Code.

Game 1 - Pong Kombat 3 (macOS - works under BasiliskII) - Code Require a Code like MK3/UMK3 Ultimate Kombat Kode. No Source Available

Game 2 - Blood Pong (Windows XP - Seems to only work under Virtual Machines running XP ONLY - May be able to work under 98). Same as above, but can not seem to be able to contact ANYONE who Developed it. Was from MonkeyByte (?), and Requires a Registration (Numbers/Letters).

I do have both Games from old Hard Drive Backups. If you want, can Message you the Links to them.

That's piracy actually and against the rules. This thread is for games that are paid but go free temporarily as giveaways/promotions. Dumps are warez and not ok to share on GBAtemp, even in PMs.

PS: I care for GOOD old games, not just old games, so I like things like Outlaws, Grim Fantango, Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle, Homeworld, etc..

link ya steam account, check if witcher is on the list, they change the games list every now and then, currently witcher is not in the list, but it might come later. you have to check it periodically

gog also allows you to reclaim some old cd keys here: https://www.gog.com/reclaim
but only a few titles are supported, this list also changes from time to time.

I'm not really sure how it misses mentions in this thread, but in case this is breaking news, this'll be extra good news for you, @ThoD :

GoG.com is giving away copies of full throttle remastered. :)

If earlier giveaways are an indication, it's just a matter of claiming it now, and it'll be added to your GoG account to download...whenever the f*** you want.

Uhh...
On top of what was posted above, Full Throttle Remastered is free on GOG for 48 hours too, so get it while you can: https://www.gog.com/?pp=2c61422714bcb5935215adf442a8f5b1d80ffc54 (Click on the banner to claim)
Same page in this thread too.

Ah, ok. Was not sure, since they are both Demos, and no way to find the Unlock/Registration.
