GREAT UPDATE Man!
thanks for the forwarders, really appreciate it, saves me the extra seconds from clicking on the hbc lol.

You are welcome. If you need a particular forwarder, look (with google or others) for one you like for the old Wii and post the link there, I will try to make it for vWii if I have time.

New UAE Wii (AMIGA Emulator) Channel Forwarder for vWii ! (Amiga1200 Banner)

They have the same TitleID.

Both work with the following paths:
SD :\apps\uae\boot.dol
SD :\apps\UAE\boot.dol
SD :\apps\uae\boot.elf
SD :\apps\UAE\boot.elf
They should also work with the same paths under USB

For the Black Homebrew Channel I made a version with the latest HBC v1.1.2, waiting for a test to publish it.

EDIT: no way, the black version of HBC will not work; maybe something new in the new HBC prevent it from working (tested many combinations/channel names/delete-reinstall channels without success)

I've noticed that when I use asper's USB Loader GX forwarder on my vWii, there's a horizontal line of distortion about 1/4 way up the screen (3/4 of the way down) on all Wii games loaded thereafter. You can see it if briefly when the screen transitions to another one, or when you make the Wii pointer hand move from left to right or right to left, about 3/4 of the way down the screen. This distortion does NOT happen if I load USB Loader GX through the Homebrew Channel, and it goes away only by powering off the Wii U and restarting it. Even if I go back to the Wii U menu and back to vWii, the line is still there unless I power off the Wii U and back on.

Anyone else notice this?

I noticed this too. NTSC Wii U

Same thing. Using the USB Loader GX channel forwarder causes this interlacing/distortion. In my case it's not always in the same place. I've had it happen midway through the screen, and I've also had it happen at the location specified by the other posters.

As with others, NTSC WiiU, 32GB.

Additionally, long time lurker, first time poster -- thanks to everyone on this forum for helping out and for doing all the legwork for the rest of us. You've been a staple of reading since I first got my launch Wii. :)

colecovision; intellivision; sega saturn; virtual boy; atari; even dosbox... these all deserve vWii channel forwarders...

appreciate the hard work... thread looks good. quite a collection of new channels that are being compiled...

edit: the genplus channel gives a Ticket (-4100) installation error through mmm. all the others forwarders install just fine...

Link each single forwarder you would like to have (not packs please) and I will try to do my best.

Corrected the Genesis Plus GX forwarder with a "should-be" working one.

New WiiColEm (Colecovision Emulator) Channel FOrwarder for vWii !

It works with the following paths:
SD :\apps\wiicolem\boot.dol
SD :\apps\wiicolem\boot.elf
SD :\apps\colem\boot.dol
SD :\apps\colem\boot.elf
USB :\apps\wiicolem\boot.dol

Only this is a forwarder, the other 4 are real channels, not forwarders; please test them with Dolphin or document functionality (unpack and open 00000002.app with hex editor looking for dol or elf strings) before posting to avoid time wasting. No more request from you, sorry.

Since a number of other people besides me noticed this problem, what are the odds it will get fixed, or, can it even be fixed?

Only the USBGX forwarder is doing this?

i made my own USB Loader GX forwarder linking to 1207 mod and I am not having any of those issues... not on vWii anyway... haven't checked on the wii...

edit:

used fix's 00000001.app from the first post, used showmewads to unpack and repack after changing the file, installed it on my vWii and it works just fine, it must be asper's. i also noticed problems with one if his other wads which he later went back and fixed... Ticket (-4100) error.

i am on an ntsc-u wii u on the latest system update using the stock usb loader gx channel forwader as my base.

So it's only Asper's one which is bad?
Maybe doing it again for vWii can fix it? (I don't have USBloaders on vWii to test)

It seems to be related to NTSC only; I don't have an NTSC Wii nor WiiU so I am not able to replicate the problem.
This is a new version repacked from official channel posted in your main download site. Can you please test it ?
I think the problem is in the forwarder .dol (contained inside the forwarder).
