I have a 64gb sd card which i would like to use on my 3ds but what do I do in sd formatter.
Plug it in to your PC
Start SD Formatter4
Go to options and set
Format type full erase
Format size adjustment on
Once done you can pop it into your 3DS like normal.
I get an error and it says flash erase not supported.
That's fine as long as it formats your fine
Ok I will try it in my 3DS.
Calm down. Please do not bump topics, especially after only 5 minutes.
Not you, the OP.
Sorry about that.
Warning: Spoilers inside!
If it's for regular sd card use, just use the regular windows fast format and then format on the 3ds, works everytime.
It is 64GB and the standard windows format doesn't support FAT32 over 32GB.
on a side note, Nintendo recommends you use SD formatter.
with cards about 32gb, however, they might only allow exFAT on Windows normally. in this case, try guiformat.
Thanks I will give it a shot.
Yay, it worked thanks to everyone who helped!
