Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

Hey guys i manager to get ssbb working on first try.
i got the wizard release and burned this on a MEMOREX DL +R with a LITE-ON dvd burner AT 2.4X using IMGburn
2.4.0.0 with layer break 2084960 no need to select DVD9 once you insert disc it will recognize the DL automatically installed on my wii and did full update without a problem plays like a charm and been playing for about 6 hours without a problem been doing some research and some users say that if you skip the movie intro the game works fine after the skip so try diffent things clean your lens there might be multiple issues with this game so dont break your head and dont give up im sure theres a fix for everyone so keep looking and play hard.
