Hacking Flashing with M3 simply

Both I and my friend have M3 Simply, only he has NDSP and I NDSL, the only game that worked using download play was brain training, so this means, if we both flash ours DSs we will be able to play all games using download play?
If this is true, where can i find software for flashing and is there something i need to check on my ds, version or something like that?

You'll need flashme, which can be found on GBAtemp's guide here:

the installers will detect what version you have, so no worries

So does flashing the ds make some (all?) "download play" games work?

Cuz there are some games don't have the multicard option ... only download play ... like Nanostray.
