Gaming Flashing Help - Lite-on!

So i wanna upgrade my lite on to 1.61 when it comes out just every guide ive read says you need a connectivity kit to flash your drive. Do you need one when your drive is already flashed?

Assuming it is a 7 series you are talking about (the flashable 8 series stuff is a "regular" drive as far as most people are concerned) flashing the drive with iextreme adds the ability to dump the serial via sata with nothing special, same with any drive that needs something done to get the serial out for that matter. You will still need to put it in the half open mode but that is not hard.

If using Jungleflasher just click on the DVDkey 32 tab and press dummy from iextreme once you have the drive located.
