I have an R4 SDHC RTS Gold Pro card, can this be used for NTR Boot and then flashed back to use it as a Flash Card?

Most of the flashcarts listed here that can be used to use the ntrboot: https://3ds.hacks.guide/ntrboot

You will likely be require to have a second flashcart of the same make just to get the firmware flasher running just to put the firmware needed to make it a flashcart again. (This is one of those situations that getting a flashcart solely on the loweset price will cost you more overall and bite you in the butt when you try and use it for something it wasn't initially intended for.)

Exceptions to these is the AK2i and the custom R4 clones with a switch that lets you move back and forth between ntrboot and R4 firmware.

I checked there first but it only states "All R4iSDHC 20XX flashcarts are identical. 2013 models are incompatible." It doesn't say anything about being and tp re-flash it.

Reflashing a ntrboot flashcart REQUIRES another flashcart of the same make or similar. Unless it was one of the flashcarts I listed above as an exception.

Flashcarts with ntrboot are in all intent and purposes treated as a bricked flashcart. The only way to get into the flashing firmware mode is to have a working flashcart of the same make or similar to load up the flashcart app, to do this YOU NEED A WORKING FLASHCART THAT ISN'T USING NTR.

You will also likely need a NDS/L or DSi to reflash the cart.

Reading through the 3DS.guide does not state you need another flash card to reflash them. It looks like you can use Luna after you install it to reflash it. I’m assuming since the firmware for my flash card is listed in the steps to reflash it I am ok.

Fine, since your not listening to what I just told you. You can have someone else tell you the same thing.

There’s no reason to be rude, I just believe the 3DS.guide over you. If you feel you are correct then please provide a link that says otherwise.

Here is the page I am referencing. The section referencing removing NTRboot towards the bottom.

Then why haven't you fixed your flashcart already.

The instructions are there.

or you could have watched a video of it on youtube.

Ironically enough, it uses the flashcart you reference as your own.

Nowhere in my posts did I state I already installed NTR on the flash card and was waiting to fix it. I was asking before I did anything.

Thank you for the links, it just proves you don’t need two flashcarts as you previously stated. Also that is not my card in the video, that one is a Dual Core and I have the RTS Gold Pro.

I have the information I need now. Thank you for the attempts to assist.
