Hacking Flash my Wiikey with another chips firmware?

Yeah, I'm one of the horde that ran out and bought the legit SSBB and I get a "error reading disc" when trying to run it.

Yeah, I've been reading all the threads about a) wait for the wiikey team ( unlikely ) or b) install a switch ( i'm not gonna do that.)

Anyone know if it's possible to flash the Wiikey with another chip that works firmware? i.e., convert the Wiikey to a Wiinja ?

Supposedly someone on Wiinewz says if you flash with 1.9g and pull the power at 75% it works fine. Then you boot the Wiikey firmware disc again to fix it. Perform at your own risk.

AMPonzi's "technique" is probably the best thing you can do other than wait for a dump of the iso and the eventual decryption.
