After installing Firmware Updater 4.3b with patches I'm no longer able to launch VC games from all regions. Must I reinstall Priiloader?

Looks like Priiloader can be installed but it won't enable hacks because the system menu version is too high I guess. So what should I do to get region free channels?

Don't use this, install the latest homebrew channel and make an official update if you really need 4.3!

I didn't realise I could do that.

My boy was messing around with the Wii, playing a game I thought. When I looked back the screen said updating please do not turn off. I kind of yelled, "What are you doing." My lad jumped and ran over and switched off the power point.

I turned it back on holding my breath and everything seems to be the same except the Homebrew channel was missing, shop channel ran up with an error, games don't run from the SD and the system menu says 4.3e.

I managed to resurrect the homebrew channel via Hackmii 0.8 and USB loader GX which was still running ok.

Now I need to fix the rest of it.. If I go to the shop channel now the error has gone but it is asking to do a system update. Will this be ok?

Before the "un-scheduled" update I was on 4.2.

Thanks for your help. I fixed the Wiiware problem I had to trucha ISO 80.

Question:Where exactly do you put the firmware updater in your SD card? It doesn't show up on the Homebrew Channel at all. I have enough space on my Wii and SD card, so I know that's not the problem.
