I'm not getting excited until they add youtube being able to be seen through internet browser and in game xmb so you can choose your own music. P.S. I hope they show or at least talk about it when E3 comes around!

What sort of video support are they adding? You're not just talking about the internet browser are you? Please tell me they're adding divx/xvid support?

they said is gonna be released but PS1 support for phat PSP's would be dropped
I hope this custom firmware when ever its released doesnt do that... :/

This update is nothing to get excited about.
Google via XMB = Search first, open browser second. Saves a whole 1 minute, whoop-de-do.

The 2x speed and .5x speed options in video playback are a mediocre improvement, at best.

This is what they call a 4.00 worthy update? Feels more like a 3.96 to me.

And they would never say "convenient" if its not, well for some users.

qj.netThe feature returns a search history recall of 20 items. Of course, you'll need to be connected to the Internet via a wireless access point or Wi-Fi hotspot before you can actually Google something.

The Google search will basically allow you to enter your query, then launch the PSP browser for the results, via Google.

Agree 3.96 should be the name. Nothing very usefull.
