ROM Hack Fire Emblem DS translation?

I found why some names don't show up properly.The font the game uses doesn't have all the english characters.It only has some capital letters.I have a screenshot on my pc I'll post it sometime in the day.

lol i just figured this out while editing this morning like in the death sequence i replaced one of the characters death script with "OH SHIT IM DEAD" and it only showed "OH SHI IM DEAD" and then i replaced it to "Oh shit im dead" and it only showed the "O"

seems like we are on the same wavelength

Were not advertising we just don't want to release the patch to the general public. Its like the almighty Ben Parker said "with great power comes great responsibility". We want to release it to the people that are diehard fans that would go the extra mile and are worthy enough for the patch. Its like How Louis Vuitton make such high priced leather goods. They even burn things they don't sell because they want to make their product for the Elite or People who would really want their goods that bad.

Back on topic:
I can't insert the newly translated files in the rom because not all of the english letters are mapped into the font so I wrote a little tool so it can be easier to see which characters are mapped.
Characters that are not mapped are displayed with red.Right Click and input some text to see what it does.

Why not edit the font to add the missing mappings? What format is the font file?

I should have the last document translated withing the next hour. After the document is translated the 2nd patch might be released

Done translating now its just a matter of the rom hacking team to insert the new text

the 2nd patch will most likely include 98% of all text translations. and maybe some graphic translations. It also should fix most of the glitches in the 1st patch. Theoretically the 2nd patch should be able to be applied to an already patched game
