what I don't know if I can upload my magic.lgp file ... it's the same as omnilash but improving the effects of limit magic and enemy ability.

This is amazing!. It made me want to play two games simultaneously with the mod activated in one of them having such improvements. Thanks for sharing!. I await more details on the two glitch you mention.

The game is closed in the temple of the elders when you speak with sefiroth. and the other before obtaining the black matter in the northern cave. to spend those moments in atmophere, press the L button when entering the game and it will load the game without the mods you pass those scenes and save and you can continue.

Ay chance to have Aspect ratio at 16:9 (Fullscreen)?
That would be so dope. Would even be awesome to have up and bottom black borders removed, I would not mind if its a little stretched to be honest.

Btw: Does this version still have the cheat thing enabled? This really bothered me from trying the switch/ps4 version

First, thanks for the mod. It lets me play the game as though it's a legit remaster. So kudos!

I read a while back that "a new threat" and Omnislash would be combined into some kinda "Omnithreat" hybrid. I tried to do it myself, adding the new threat kernel (and battle files), and while this worked for a second, any scene switch causes a crash. Has anyone made any progress? Or can anyone help me set it up myself? No access to a computer (I know) but I'm super interested considering the base game is so easy. I can't do without the Omnislash sprites tho lol. Save me someone! :).

I have a crash every once in a while, even with OC, not sure if it's the same for everyone. But certainly not enough to ruin my experience. Thanks all

so far I've discovered 2 issues.
1. the worker on the train is having clipping issues with the headrest in front of him.
2. model scaling issues in Shinra building. notice how some of the guys are much larger than other humans.

so I've found an older version of Beacause that is easier to work with. managed to fix the controller icons to match the Switch controls, instead of the PSX icons that are included with the other versions. also amended some of the weapon names, because the original translation just seemed off to me. I've made 1 version for normal FF7 use and 1 version for Omnislash. the only difference that I can see so far is the character models on the world map between the 2 versions. enjoy.

For normal FF7:

For Omnislash:

P.S.: not gonna fix any bugs on this. I'm already burned out looking through so much text. what you see is what you get.

Does anyone have this working on newer switch firmware? I'm on 12.1 and the game crashes immediately and data corrupts. I am on exFat instead of FAT32. Everything seems to run perfectly though except Retroarch I have to be careful with and now this....

i think the corruption stems from you using exFat along with Retroarch. I've experienced it once before, and decided to switch to FAT32. been using it for 2 months already and no corruptions so far. what they said about Retroarch corrupting exFat cards were true after all. btw, I'm still on 12.0.2, cuz I'm just too lazy to update sys-clk and other stuff. don't fix it if it ain't broken, i guess. :rofl2:

Hello everyone! I found this today and I just installed the Omnislash mod and my god this is just beautiful work!
FFVII is one of my all time favourite game ever and i just love the remake they made but this one is something else and i'm going to enjoy this even more than with the remake. Thank you! By the way the image that was with the extra goodies folder makes a great icon for homemenu 🙂
