Hi, if possible i want to volunteer as a proof reader/editor as well..
maybe you can set up guys who are willing to proof read on certain areas (e.g. menus, story dialogue, etc.)

I don't know any japanese but i have experience in editing japanese movie subs..last movie i edited the srt was Rurouni Kenshin.
Just to make clear i only edit certain words, re-phrase dialogues to make them sound more appealing and make them more understandable, less obscure. In my experience in editing movies that are completely not English (referring to the sub/srt file), most of the time, the dialogue sounds awkward.

Anyway it's not like i'm really going to be all that useful, editing srt's is nothing compared to editing something of that scale.
Just let me know if you guys need a helping hand with that stuff, i'm willing to help..

To be perfectly honest, I don't think we need anymore proofreaders/editors at the moment.
We already have 3 (including myself I believe.)
Not to sound like a jerk, but there could be something else you could help out with.

I just wanted to post to salute you guys efforts and express how fans can make gaming so enjoyable nowadays! Never would I be able to enjoy this title if it were not for you. I'll wait patiently for a "patch". This game looks so good! Hope you guys don't run into too much trouble.

Well Babelfish already gives you numerous errors and inaccuracies on the timeline alone. It probably isn't wise to assume a internet translator program can do everything. Especially since the game in itself is rather text heavy and even slight alterations can mean completely different things, and possibly lose the original meaning meant to be conveyed.

Also, sorry I was away for a bit - freakin flu. I'll get started on some image editing tonight hopefully.

although, it's a minor thing I guess but I like the original vertical placement of the menu fonts a lot better.

It's infinitely more readable if you put the graphics horizontal though.

About the subtitles--I take it they're a work in progress? :) Because I caught a few two-lined subs that weren't centered, and it looked odd.

As far as we can tell, the subtitles can't be centered. But we'll look into it more.

And yeah man, EVERYTHING about the project is a work in progress! :)

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.
