We discussed which fonts were to be used before moving onto German semantics. ;)

In any case, is there a project page somewhere out there that I might have missed, or is everything happening on here? Once more, I'd like to give a helping hand if I could. NSRSM, you're project leader. Direct me!

"Ich glaube ich kann genug deutsch sprechen zu wissen." That sentence wasn't quite right. Let me tell u, I'm from germany. "Ich glaube, ich kann genug deutsch sprechen um das zu wissen." would be right.

Edit: I think the Team should decide, what they want to do anyways.
Edit 2: There is no Project page, because there would be too much annoyance like "When will it be ready". So everything is written here.

What are you able to do?

As of now Sky wants to run a few tests before continuing on. Just to make sure the insertion tool is all sorted out.

I'd like to work alongside the translators as an editor. As somebody who's written a few comics in his time, I'm fairly used to carrying dialogue in "tight spaces." Also, word-for-word translations can get very messy, so somebody who can filter them is necessary - as an example, more often than not personalities are one of the things that get lost through literal translations. That'd be my primary job if you're up for it.

Secondary, is a little bit...weird? Back in high school, I took several digital graphics courses, hoping to have a career in them some day. Didn't go through, but I dare say I'm damned good with photoshop after all that. You know how when you play through Type-0, and when entering new areas there's a little heads-up introducing them at the top of the screen? Those are image files, albeit in Japanese. I think I can make them in English...well, as long as I know what they mean.

Well for now we as a team are waiting for Sky to do whatever before we move on since we as a team have delegated to work on the cutscene dialogue first,(by majority vote) in the meantime if you wish to take part in our project, send a PM to the user Artistan and he can set you up with a username and password for our central server we use.

Ask for the server in question and he should delegate a link for you.

Afterwards if you wish to communicate with the group as a whole, send me a PM as well and I'll explain how we keep in contact on a daily basis.

@coredecepts
no problem, mister^^. I try to help if I can. I will let the file stay on my cloud for a little bit longer. Maybe some unlucky cheaps are here again some time soon ;).
So if anybody else need the database I repost it here again
CWcheat-Database.
For the newcomers who are like "tl:dr". This database contains a cheat for the merged version of Final Fantasy Type-0. Merged Version means, that Sky merged both UMD's to one. To access the second UMD u need something to trigger it (should be obvious). That's why we have a cheat for this (thx to Sky again ;), that u have to activate to get to the 2nd UMD. U just have to Enable the Cheat itself and "Enable Cheat" as well (too confusing?). Then just load a savedata of UMD two, go to Data Install and Cancel it or the same with history. U will see, u are on UMD 2.

Here u can get everything to merge the UMD- Iso's Sky's Cool Page for many good things to find :D.
We don't support piracy in anyways so we don't distribute the Iso itself. We recomment to buy it, but do what u want^^. Of course u need a CFW on ur PSP.

Can I volunteer here? Haha. I'm not good at coding or anything like that, but I was wondering since people are working on an English patch, if anyone needs script localization or something of the sort to help the story flow smoothly? For example, revising the translation to make conversation seem more natural without adding or removing anything crucial to the translation, or the datalogs, etc. Mainly de-Yoda-izing the Japanese syntax that seems to carry over to English translations a lot (for example, a particular sub of the opening scene has a character quoted as saying "For everything... thank you", as opposed to simply "Thank you... for everything" because that just makes sense in English language).

If this is the wrong area, just ignore me. :P I love working as an editor and such and thought this would be a fun opportunity!

EDIT: Also, I'm completely oblivious as to what's going on- I'm not sure if the entire project is done or not. This is the first time I've heard of the Type-0 translation project.

@ SilentOne: Translation Project will start soon, because our Coder (Sky) is just testing a tool and then the "real" translation will start.
99% of the Pictures were allready translated, as Im informed (or did I got that wrong?).
The rest is open.

Most of them are just test translations. To make sure certain things can be translated or how they're translated.
