Homebrew Final Fantasy tactics On AK2i

Not sure what the trouble is, but after about the 4th mission, I get to the world map, try to save, and Freeze. Akaio 1.5.1, 1.6 RC1, and 1.6RC2 all tried. Same result. Can anyone help this is Maddening.

> corrupted ROM
> fragmented card
> slow SD card access

Have tried 2 Separate AK2i, 2 separate micro SDs, and 2 different games from reliable sources.
