ROM Hack Final Fantasy IV Hacking Help

My apologies if a similar topic/solution exists. I searched the forums with no luck. First off FFIV is my all time favorite FF, and I'm loving the remake. However, there are two small things I'd like to add to the game to make them more like the original. Firstly I would like to add into the battle screen my party's max HP/MP along side their current, for example: "3543/4560 HP 54/123 MP". Secondly having your playtime displayed in the main menu at the bottom, opposed from having to enter the save menu to see it. Any info about doing this would be greatly appreciated.
