I'm playing Chocobo Tales right now and was just curious what other highly rated games for handheld systems are available that offer a similar card based battle system. Thanks.

The closest would be these, from what I understand:

• Top Trumps: Doctor Who
• Dragon Ball Z: Haukanaru Densetsu

Any other options you can think of? I would think card based battle games would mesh well on handheld platforms, and thusly would inspire atleast a few quality releases.

+1 for the DBZ card game. I enjoyed that alot. I believe there is also a Marvel TCG for the DS, but I haven't played it so can't say if it's any good.

That one's actually more like a Yu-Gi-Oh game and not simplistic rock/paper/scissors gameplay like the Chocobo Tales card game.
