Hacking Final Fantasy 3 not working.

Every time I try to boot this on my M3 real it will say its loading. Then the next thing i know is it will go to white screens. Freeze up totaly where i have to turn off an back on. No cheats on, just soft reset, and ive taken that off and nothing. Zelda also does the same thing. What woud eb the reason for this?
