Even if only the pixel form I imagine most here are familiar with guns (no we are not doing the ships, and possibly trains, have guns bit).

    While many things are customisable
    M4 Sopmod - It's Like Barbie For Men.jpg

Most times a custom gun is not really a thing like you might have a custom forged knife, and it will still be based on a "platform". To that end having a favourite probably is something that you can reasonably compare. If something only gets to be usable after a tune up, some extras and fancy ammo then so it goes, mention that if you want.

If you saw one in a film or TV then chances are it will be noted in http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Main_Page , and that also has some nice things on the various versions of guns (their coverage of the AK stuff being pretty good as a primer http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/AK-47 http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/AK-74).

Do you watch gun channels or read gun websites? Share some of those with the crowd if you want.

Not particularly going for any directed conversation. Favourite to look at, favourite to play with at the range, favourite that you own, favourite if your location is rather restrictive, favourite if ammo price is not a consideration, favourite if playing a game, do you have any in posters on your wall? favourite for its history, favourite for if you are bad enough that someone is going to kick down your door at night... basically a general conversation. Do you do any gun sports or just go for the range? Does your local range offer anything fun like pop up steels or are you lethal for paper? Do you do anything for distance?

I've never really been interested in guns, though, that might be because I live in a country where they aren't widely available and I mostly only see them on TV. In real life, I've only ever seen them on patrolling soldiers and policemen.

I do sometimes like to watch youtube, when I see guns in a game or on tv I sometimes like to get some more information. How much does a suppressor suppress, or how does a M82 work and recoil in real life. The chance of me legally (or illegally) firing guns are very slim in the Netherlands. So watching some weird Russian talking crappy English firing at random shit is the closest for me firing a gun. Maybe this is for the best anyways. Favorite? I'd go for the M82 because it's awesome.

Do guns I collect in video games count?

IRL I do like the KSG shotgun. Who needs doors when you can just make one yourself.

I am no Fan of Guns,

but the STAR TREK Phaser from the Original Series has fascinated me from the first Time (somewhere/sometimes in 1973) I saw it.
No other (Star Trek) Weapon has this Charisma and Elegance......

Being a burger I've shot a lot of guns, but not my own. Sadly for this reason I can't tell you with certainty the names of most of the guns that I've shot.

But I can say I liked shooting an AK47 much more than an AR15.

    Favourite pistol.

Tried most of the big ones (most of the wonder 9s, 1911, never a makarov though)

VP9 seems to be my favourite though. Slide bite might be an issue but that is solved by good grip. Capacity, feel (not so used to trigger safety but 9000 times better than grip safety), sights work for me (though it took a while to not go low), neglect and abuse is nothing to this thing...

"sniper" rifle (including DMRs in this).
While the greatest part of me favours all manner of precision engineered technical fun if one friend called up and said couple of boxes through a SVD/Dragunov and another said couple through [insert latest military or shiny shiny] it is going to have to be the former. Do have a poster on my wall as well.

Shotguns I have not really done much with to say much here (only double barrels I have ever played with were over under). Just to piss off the gun people then pancor jackhammer.

Will have to go have a little think before I contemplate any kind of "assault" rifle, PDW, SMG and hunting rifle options (though I would contemplate taking an SVD up until I carried it around for 10 hours). Don't have the greatest range of experiences here though.

Does a sonic screwdriver count as a gun? It can be used to shoot people so I'm going with it :rofl2:

Come back when you have hauled it around all day, reset your shoulder after having the recoil push it out of place, and paid for the ammo to go into it.

It just needs to be a fun. I’m not looking for a Fucking gun, just a gun. It doesn’t even have to use bullets, though.

AUG is one of my favs :D
For SMG probably an MP5 or MP7.
As for handguns, really hard to tell.
I am between a Beretta, Glock or a USP.

My experience with guns is only in videogames since my country is rather restrictive of them, though if i ever move to America you'll be sure that as soon as 90 days pass i'll get some, regardless, here's a list of my favorites, at least in videogame form
    -Steyr Aug
    -IMI Galil
    -FN Five Seven
-Steyr Scout (the actual scout, even if the csgo playerbase reffers to the ssg008 as the scout, it's still an ssg008)
    -H&K MP9
-Techno Arms Mag-7 (from what i've seen, in real life it's pretty bad, but at least in csgo i always enjoy using it)
-Bond Arms Derringer (this one i've only seen in videos, it's not really practical but looks fun)
-Smith & Wesson Model 327 Performance Center M&P R8: (opposite case to the mag 7, in videogame form it's pretty bad but irl reviewers praise it a lot)

    I'd marry this weapon
No better feeling than shoving this in some demon's face and turning into fine, red mist

FMG9, I think the design of weapons that can fold or transform pretty sick

Beat me to it. Almost any three-round burst weapon is my go-to in shooters, but this is the one that gets featured most often. I'd be tempted to buy one IRL if they didn't run upwards of $3,000...and if they weren't illegal for civilians to own lol.
