Since none of the Wii versions of the game where ever brought to the USA and the Wii was more successful I would imagine probably not. However you never know Nintendo is really trying to increase the sales of the WiiU in any way it can soo I guess it is possible. I enjoyed the Project Zero 2 for the Wii, shame Europe were the only ones that got it.

I played Fatal Frame 4 once. I had a fever at the time, so the combination of that and me being a pussy did not go well. I was screaming like the sluttiest girl in a cheap horror film.
omg you just made my day XD

and to be honest, I never played a fatal frame game before, so I might give it a try, if it makes its way to the west.... is it like a silent hill game or like a resident evil game or like what they dare to call resident evil nowadays?

It's a psychological horror game. I've never played Silent Hill, but it's definitely not a Resident Evil type game. It f**ks with your mind to make you think you're in danger.

Well, this looks like a pre-order worthy and this happens rarely for me (unless it's certain Nintendo exclusives I like).

I find that funny beause literally every "Top 10 Wii U games" list I've seen has at least an honorable mention of ZombiU... :D

That's because the people doing the Top 10 lists don't know how shitty the game and think "Oh look a new conceptual zombie game it looks really interesting! Certainly one of Wii U's best games!" (I think Kot-dump-pooh was one of them).

I have a copy of it and kinda want to get rid of it but eh, not gonna bother.

Hope so, It'd be nice to play a good survival horror on Wii u that isn't a piece of shit like Zombi U

You're wrong. Zombiu was a great game and is one of the best survival horror games around. I know it has a love/hate reletionship with gamers but if you bought it to play a good survival horror game and didnt like it, there is something wrong with you.

Not sure what to think of the trailer, to be honest. It sure is a fatal frame game, but it's also pretty much EXACTLY THE SAME as fatal frame 4 (haven't played the other ones). Since it's a horror game, pointing at the graphics doesn't do much good (things have to be vague for the best effect), but still...the only thing above wii-quality are the character models. And with no shown gameplay or English subtitles, I kind of expected more.

And damnit...again with the zombiu hate? Jeez. At the launch it was considered "great" and "one of the few actual mature games". A few months later, it was "decent" or "good". Then it became forgotten, even to the point that people blatantly ignored that there IS a game that uses the extra screen in all the right ways. And now it's shit? Man...I wonder how much more it can devaluate in value from this point.

of course it's the same these games are always the same run around with a flashlight in the dark till something jumps out and scares tries to scare you. and plus bet it will be japan only AGAIN

Have you played a survival horror game before? It's a piece of shit. 90% of the game can be played punching people with a wooden bat. Which is your only fucking melee weapon. The game focuses more on trying to be horrific by placing predictable jump scares and dreary ambience. Which isn't scary. It's just irritating like Other overly fog ambient games. Zombi U is the definition of what not to do with a survival horror game.

Hm.. did we really play the same game? I played a wii game once where you control this little girl with a flashlight searching for her twin sister. Tried to be scary, but it was not. It was more like some ghost story I would tell my 8 year old little sister. ;)

(Only played the first 20 minutes of the game)

Lol, well that would explain it. The first bit is super boring.

Yeah I know, should have played it longer.
Did not want to rate the game, was just an impression it made. Furthermore at that time I wasnt in the mood to get into it to be honest.

I think in general that you must take your time to get into these kind of games. Get into the world, into the characters etc. Otherwise the immersion won't suck you in.
(Few examples: Shadow of Memories, Visual Novels, Silent Hill and many more I forgot)

Would even say that Resident Evil 1 - 3 are such games. I showed the Gamecube Remake to a few people and they were like "What shitty control, what shitty camera, why does nothing happen, why can't I save where and so often I want, where is my rocket launcher" and stopped playing after the first 10 (!) minutes.

(One tried to kill the zombie at the beginning with a knife - didn't even think about running away and died! Frustrated me more then him I suppose. Thank you Resident Evil 6!)

I couldn't bear the original RE because the camera controls were so difficult. It was a real shame because I heard the game itself was pretty fun. And $20 went down the drain.

You mean on PS1? Never played it to be honest. Was it so different?

Wii remake, but it was identical to the PS1 version except for better textures. As I recall, you couldn't move the camera around. It's been too long though. All I remember for sure is that I kept dying and getting stuck in rooms because I couldn't move with any accuracy.

Anyway, this is getting way off topic.

Some of us didn't really buy ZombiUgh but it was included in the bundle as well as the Wii U Pro Controller, so initially the player thought it'd be a good game seeing that it had the potential to be a decent game though we were wrong about it.

I have my ZombiUgh copy laying around but sold the Wii U Not-So-Pro Controller because I didn't really like it very much and now that the Wii U GameCube is coming there's going to be the definitive Real Wii U Pro Controller.
