Fallout 76 announced

After a huge tease of the game via Bethesda Game Studio's Twitch account, a trailer video was released, giving us a look into the latest Fallout game. Gameplay wasn't shown, but we have a title now, Fallout 76, which presumably takes place in Vault 76, a control-vault mentioned in both Fallout 3, and 4. It takes place around 2102, in the timeline (the year FEV was discovered). Fallout 76 is an online game and will be available on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4, and we'll have a better look at actual gameplay during Bethesda's E3 conference.

Ok a vault as big as it could be is always far from "massive" even in fallout games.

So online game revolving around a limited space..

Is it a battle royale of sorts?

Hmm but will they keep the same perk system from fallout 4? If they do then its going to suck real bad which was one of the main reasons I didn't like fallout 4 compared to 3 and new Vegas.

Edit: Online game? No mods? Forget it.Not worth the harddrive space

What about Wolfenstein II? Everything is possible.
it won't even run with graphic without downgrade, i mean A LOT OF it. this new game is designed with latest fallout engine, i don't think Bethesda would make a porting base on Wolfenstein and Doom's sales.

Here lies the switch owners hopes and dreams

rest in pasta, never forgetti.

Btw the heck is this, another battle royale?

I imagine this is the New Vegas to fallout 4, (same basic engine with minor tweaks) and to everyone saying they should show gameplay, they need something for there E3 conference. ;)

that said I doubt they will pull a fallout 4 and have it release in like November.
if that was the case I think the E3 surprise with no teaser would have made sense.
I imagine a in game onstage demo for E3 and a spring 2019 maybe fall 2019 release if it get pushed back

It's going to be fallouts eso actually.

It ISN'T CONFIRMED to be online yet, thats just what Kotaku's "anonymous sources" say, and I ain't very trusting of Kotaku. I would think Zenimax Online would be the one developing it, because ESO has brung a lot of cash in for Zenimax, whether you like it or not (i think its pretty good now tbh).

Online game ? Don't see how fallout can succeed as an online game? Look what they did with elder scrolls. Well guess Bethesda is smelling tha moneeyyyyyyy

F3 doesn't work half the time on windows 10 without pita workarounds. new vegas works fine for this first two or so hours rip
New Vegas runs great if you make it use more memory :) Played it with mods till the end just a few months ago. I love that game the most.

I hope they dont do this... take it with a grain of salt. But if it is Fallout Online then it's just another Bethesda game that I dont have to spend money on

Y'all can whine about it possibly being "online" as if every single online game is an affront to god. I'm excited for more of the Fallout universe fleshing itself out, regardless of any trigger keywords like "online."
