Fallout 76 announced



After a huge tease of the game via Bethesda Game Studio's Twitch account, a trailer video was released, giving us a look into the latest Fallout game. Gameplay wasn't shown, but we have a title now, Fallout 76, which presumably takes place in Vault 76, a control-vault mentioned in both Fallout 3, and 4. It takes place around 2102, in the timeline (the year FEV was discovered). Fallout 76 is an online game and will be available on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4, and we'll have a better look at actual gameplay during Bethesda's E3 conference.
 
Ooooooh! SHINY! Idk but i had this feeling when writing lol. On the other side, I hope this game will be like Fallout 4. Especially the dialog system ;)

was expecting a crossover between fallout and blizzard (soldier 76 in overwatch)
ho well, new fallou game <3

love how they create plenty of items and stuff around the vaultboy design, yellow and blue <3

Looks good.

I'm really looking forward to getting into the PS3 version. Only trouble is, it might be too good, and I've only got so much free time in a day. I popped in the disc a couple years ago and was floored right away. I was bashing cockroaches with a baton, being pursued by guards, and finally emerged from the vault. Thinking I'd only been playing for maybe ten minutes or so, I was shocked when I glanced at the clock and noticed nearly an hour had passed. The mark of a quality game.

But those games work fine on x64 PCs. Why remake them?

They don't, only if you patch them and even then it's limited to 4gb of ram with mods you easily hit that threshold, when skyrim got the treatment it made it much more accessible for users that wanted to mod without much trouble/ game crashing and studders due to game engine design that oldrim had.
 
Fallout 76? what happened to Fallout 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, and 75?

Works fine for me. Fallout 4 doesn't though. :P
 
So. They made a teaser for a teaser trailer and that while they aren't even far enough in the development to show some gameplay?
I miss the times a trailer with in-game scenes was released 1-3 months before the actual game release and that was all of the advertisement until short before release.

(but great music choice)
