Someone correct me but users on 4.1.0 should eventually (summer?) get a software coldboot right? Or will we still need this shorting pins thingy?

So what does this accomplish right now?
Question was literally asked and answered about 5 postings ago. And three pages before that.

But nobody reads...

Here is a repeat:

Qyriad

Regarding payloads:
Fusee Gelee automatically loads intermezzo.hin, which when loads whatever payload you specify on the t-g- command line
That payload Will eventually load further payloads (read:Atmosphere layers) from the SD card
However right now, we do not have an sdrnmc driver for the bpmp, which is where fusee gelee's payload (read: fusee) runs
As such there Is nothing for the end user right now

How was the pin shorting thing discovered?
Lead pipes on an Nintendo engineer?
nVidia's own documentation shows that two buttons being pressed can force the device into recovery mode. Presumably someone probed around a bit to figure out which inputs are the equivalent ones on the Switch.

Except GBAtemp was giving me rapid 504 errors, which I stated on another post in this thread, so I couldn't exactly access those posts.
RIP your facetiousness.
So you posted in the forum that errored out so you didn't have to read the first three pages, but only the last one - on the forum that errored out.

Eh. ;)

No fingerpointing involved (as in: not meant personally), btw - just pure economics of (small) scale. If everyone reads the first two or three pages of a thread - before posting questions, this should result in less questions asked, which should result in shorter threads, which should result in higher visibility of actual answers, which should result in more people actually getting what they want without even having to post a personal request. :)

For the record - I'm actually thinking about giving up the facetiousness for a longer period, because this forum actually became somewhat "readable" even through a big announcement (granted not a "everyone gets free now" level announcement, but still) - so theres less need for me to actually behave in this way.. :)

I hope I can manage it. ;)

I can't keep up with thing, so I have a question. With 3.0.0 and lower we don't need to use this semi-hardmod method right? There would be a soft mod for this bootrom exploit when Atmosphere is ready?
