I was thinking about this since megaupload closed.

I remember the movie Fahrenheit 451. But applying the concept to videogames.

Megaupload closed days ago. Today, filejungle, filesonic and a few more.

I can imagine gamers writing in Google Searchbox "Best NDS games" or "essential GBA games". Things like that.
They download them as fast as they can because they're running out of time. They keep they games in HDDs, and burn them in DVDs.
Their sons will be able to play games that disappeared years ago, games from abroad, and games their parents only remember to play when they were 12.

I think that many people is thinking like me, although they don't say it.

Oh, 660ºF is the temperature polyethylene plastic burns, the material many consoles, hanshelds and cartridges are made of.

EDIT: Just made the post to have fun, I know games are not disappearing etcetc. Just a plot for a TV movie. A bad one.

Er, games themselves aren't disappearing. At the very worst, you'd just have to buy them. Which is surprisingly easy no matter what the game is.
