Homebrew F.lux equivalent for 3DS?

I haven't seen anything like this yet, but I'm wondering if it's possible to implement something like f.lux on my n3ds al9h + Luma.
F.lux is a program that added an orange hue to the screens so they are easier on your eyes in the dark.
I play a lot at night, and the screen is so bright it hurts my eyes. I've used f.lux or an equivalent on my phone for years and it's a godsend.
