Hacking EZV and 3in1 GBA Games Don't Save

Hey all,

I've had my EZV and 3in1 pak since November 2007, and now whenever i save on a GBA game, and start it up again, my save is gone. I had to manually load the save, backed up on my flashcard, and but then again, thats the only save i'll ever have, since it doesn't keep the save when i turn off the DS. Why is it doing this?

It's battery die? the one that keep SRAM data

Do you know how to replace it? I opened it and the battery is stuck between two pieces of metal, which is then soldered onto the board. And what type of battery should i get?
