Hey, I just got an EZFLASH Junior for my GBC and it's basically working fine. But it randomly sorts all roms and folders. How do I make it sort alphabetically?

I had to copy the folders in 1 by 1 in the order i wanted them in. I thing it sorts them in the order they were created.

There is a more automated way to a solution. A few guys over a reddit helped me, thanks to Luke210, homerghost, and moddingmike.

If you’re comfortable using the Mac terminal, there’s fatsort:

Once installed, plug the SD card in, and type:

diskutil list

Find the SD card in the list of drives and note the disk #, for example: disk2s1

Then type:

diskutil unmount /dev/disk2s1

Now run the program: sudo fatsort /dev/disk2s1

Be sure to use diskutil to unmount the drive and not the eject button in the finder, otherwise fatsort won’t work.

oooh, didn't hear of that utility!
Gonna keep that around on my fedora installation, saves a lot of trouble! thx

User demands have always confused developers.
The original kernel supported alphabetical sorting, but most people said, "We don't need sorting, we need faster file display". When we removed the alphabetical sorting to improve file display speed, users came back complaining about the lack of alphabetical sorting.
