Hacking EZFlash expansion pack doesn't fit

I just got the EZFlash expansion pack, and it won't go into my ds lite's slot 2.
It's too big.
I don't want to push it too hard that it just breaks, but it shouldn't be like that, right?

I took it apart and I think that the gold metal things (don't know what they're called), that are used to slot it in, are slightly up, so it won't slot into the DS.
It's pushed up by something, about the size of a micro sd.

Well, i don't know much about that thing,
but could it be that its one for the DS phat?
Then it would be too big for the DS lite, of course.

is this a 3in1?

Mine fits fine... maybe you got a dud... can you send it back?

or try angling the cart a little as you push it in... try to aim to get the circuit board to go into the appropriate gap inside the ds cart slot...

Yeah, I eventually got it in by messing around until I got the right angle.
I guess it is a dud though, it works fine now, thanks.
