I'm googling this for some time now and couldn't find an issue like this. My Omega arrived today, i've tested it with three consoles: GBA SP-001, modded GBA(101 mod) and old DS Lite. It worked fine on all three. Updated my kernel beforehand. But, while plugging it into GC GBA player it goes directly to safe mode everytime. Says it can't find loader. Returns errors shown on pictures. Tried three different microsd cards, didn't work. If it changes anything Gamecube is an NTSC-J Spicy Orange one. Any help please?

That is an odd one.

For it to work on GBAs but not in a player makes me wonder if it is flexing the PCB or something.

First: EZ-FLASH OMEGA works well on GC GB PLAYER.
Second: The card is damaged, I don know why, since you said it worked on your handheld consoles. the onscreen info says the boot NOR flash is error. maybe the power surge or whatever caused the error.

and. if you don't have a recovery sd card, DO NOT choose the first update loader option(Although there are already warning inside the option) and press A, it will wipe out the boot loader sector of the card which will cause an infinite safe mode loop.

Here is my suggestion:
1. Choose the Test Psram option and see the S71 error still persist or not. please operate it on your GBA or other handheld consoles. not the GB PLAYER. if the error persists. contact your dealer for a replacement. if the error gone. see next.

2. Try to recovery your card by follow the recovery instruction. http://www.ezflash.cn/zip/recovery-en.pdf please operate it on your GBA or other handheld consoles. not the GB PLAYER.

The test PSRAM option on gba shows no errors. Already tried recovery on GBA, problem persists only on GB player.

Congratulations on your card being repaired and working.
For the current problems of GB PLAYER, I have two suggestions:

1. Disassemble the EZ-FLASH OMEGA cases, reposition the PCB, and don’t tighten the screw too much when you assembling the case.

2. Check the card socket of the GB PLAYER to see if it is deformed or clogged with small objects. Cleaning the metal contact points of the socket is also a way. Maybe some of the contact points are oxidized, causing a certain pin of the card can not be touched.

I did not repair anything because situation is still the same. Tried disassembling, and not tightening the screw. Cleaned the pins in GBP. No luck. Cart still works in GBA, no change to that. Still no_loader_found error message in GBP.

Let's take a look at the current problems.

EZ-FLASH OMEGA works normally on NGC GB PLAYER, we have received many successful reviews from users.

I once thought that your card may be damaged, but according to what you said, it is no problem on the handheld devices, which means that the card is not damaged.

According to the S71 error which reported previously, there should be a metal pin that is not in contact or a power supply problem.

But you also clarified that your slot is not deformed and defaced.

Then this problem only has the following possibility: the current card may be incompatible with your NGC GB PLAYER, you can contact the dealer to replace it.

That's what i thought. I would try to open GBP and/or Gamecube itself to clean both but I don't have screwdriver for this at the moment, just ordered it. I will try to replace it in the coming days.

I've softmodded my gamecube just to launch GBI through swiss on PAL console instead of japanese one(I have only japanese disc for GB player). Same error. I think i will just contact the guy who i bought from to replace or return it.

Update after a year(LOL, literally checking the date) if someone will have same problem like me in the future. My solution was this: I bought new GB player and it worked flawlessly ever since. Old one had issues with GBA games with traditional saving solution(via normal battery, not flash)

What version of GBA Player do you have? I do not remember that there were reviews of said device

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
