In 2.01 firmware now the card creates some patch files, do anyone figured it out how theese work?
i suppose they are kinda like IPS patches, after load the rom, the card uses stamps the contents of this file inside the psram\nor

did anyone tried to figure it out how ez team implemented this?

is the original .gba file intact? (meaning i can use theese files anywhere since they are always clean)
if this is the case, then i can use one micro sd card as my dedicated gba rom storage making everything more clean and simple...
want to play on pc, just plug the micro sd, load the rom and save and go.. no more worried about ez iv prepared files which lead me to get the clean roms for my emulators

the ROMs remain untouched, i.e. they remain clean :). Haven't looked into how the the patch files themselves work, yet.

EDIT: Can't make any sense of the patch files themselves.
just checked yeh, the roms remain untouched which is amazing!
the pat files are weird, just 320 bytes, most of it is empty

are the save files completely usable on emulators? or do they suffer from a conversion?
is there a difference in the output save file of the cart or emulators?
emulators don't need to apply patches to write into an sram memory..
but i guess i can test this by dumping the save from a flash\eeprom real cart and try to load the save on the ez iv
