Just wondering, is there any physical difference between the old EZFlash 3 in 1 and the new one? How would you know which you got?

the only way to find out is that the gbaxploder tells you in the newest version

I just received one and it is the new 512Mb NOR version.

if you ordered it in the last 2 weeks of DEC 08 or later, you got the 3in1+ (512 version) in the old shell. they will be changing the sticker sometime later this month or next to match the grey sticker they are currently using.

Pretty much every electronic shop shoud have CR1220-batteries on shelves. I bought mine from a local electronics shop for 3 euros.

The battery on my Ezflash 3 in 1 was dead out of the box.

Unfortunately I don't have mad soldering skills so I can't really solder the battery in myself =[

you could try conductive epoxy, its not a good idea to solder directly to a battery anyway....
