Hacking EZ-Flash 3-in-1 as extension memory with M3DSReal

Alright so I have my M3 with Sakura 1.40 (Latest) and an EZ-Flash 3-in-1.
I use Exploader 5.8B (patched to work with M3) to load my Roms, everything works fine until I want to change mode (either to rumble or RAM)
I press L/R in Exploader until the change mode screen, then the system freeze when I press A to change mode.
I get the same results in TouchPod.
Am I doing it wrong? I there a way to use my 3-in-1 as RAM with my M3DSReal? Thanks.

You can't use patched version 0.58b with softreset enabled (Softreset.M3DS)
Downgrade to v0.57 copy Softreset.M3DS on the root of your card
With this you can access Expansion mode (rumble and expansion ram mode) after pressing R two times. Hope it helps

Seems like 0.57 can't detect my 3-in-1. I must have the PLUS version? Then, is there a way?

So i used to have the same problem than Olivil, using patched GBAEXP 0.58b it freezes whenever i press A over expansion or one of the 3 rumble levels.
Now i have Softreset.m3ds and gbaexp 0.57 on the root and it detects my EZV fine, and when i chose expansion or rumble, it resets to a black screen and sits there forever. What am i doing wrong now?
