You can make a euro account hon, and get PSN+ off of playasia ( http://www.play-asia.com/playstation-plus-365-day-subscription-paOS-13-49-en-70-5dil.html ) the PS3 is region free to that extent. You just need to place your homeland down as the united kingdom when making an account.

indie game for vita, a fighting game for psp, and a few games for ps3 (1 good, rest mixed),

Sorry for being a PS3 noob but I bought my cousin's PS3 console last week. Am I right in thinking that with a PS Plus promotion, these games... are free to play? I'm starting to wish I bought the PS3 earlier instead of buying a new Xbox Slim to replace my RROD one earlier this year.
