I know how to check you european 3DS.
Go to the American Ambassador tool (American Ambassador tool)
Fill in the serial number but replace CEH for CW.
For example if your serial number is CEH100064852 you have to fill in CW100064852.
I checked this with my own 3DS, it says: "You are a Nintendo 3DS Ambassador!"

Good luck checking your onw system!
Checked it with mine

Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Eligibility
Serial Number:
"CW103590996"

Eligibility:
You are a Nintendo 3DS Ambassador!

Nintendo will make the Nintendo eShop available for you to download the available free content including Ambassador Program games. Nintendo 3DS Ambassadors will receive special instructions on how to download these games. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

Friendcode if anyone wants to add me.

Just tried that and it stated "Eligibility: Undetermined"

Now i'm worried

Did you enter the code correctly, including the number in the box?

Yes. And yes i've been on the eshop multiple times before and on the cut-off date, i've even purchased from the store before the cut-off date.

Yes the number is correctly entered, and yes the beginning letters replaced correctly. Think that covers everything

Thanks for that! Just checked mine and I'm in it. Now I can have some peace of mind.

Just remember, there is no way to be sure doing that method... Those are so low of numbers they could easily be really north american 3DS' that you're mistaken for being your own...

Unless you honestly think there hasn't been at least 65k 3DS' sold in the US

It was a feel-good moment until you posted...

The odds of me sharing the exact serial number with someone else with the only difference being the letters is extremely low.

Yah that could be true.
Probably the 3DS systems that have been registered for the programm also have low numers starting with 1000----
I didn't got that in mind.

I don't have a 'CEH' on my europeon 3DS - got 'CEF' instead,

Tried it out though & it says it's a '3DS Ambassador' - But It STILL doesn't confirm I'M a 3DS ambassador - just that theres a 3DS that start 'CW' & has the same number as me

I tried my European 3DS serial number on all the websites as the European one isn't yet up. These are the messages I am getting:

American/Latin American Check Tool: Undetermined.
Australian Check Tool: Has not been registered
Japanese Check Tool: I can't understand.

It's quite worrying. I bought my 3DS and received it on 30th June. I instantly updated over the internet and then registered and accessed the Nintendo eShop. Then I downloaded the Pokédex 3D, then Nintendo Video sometime in the first week of August. I should be registered, but I hate not knowing.

Mine is a UK CEM serial number model.
