can you update the firmware with wifi, visit the dsi store and then try again?

it still works on my jap dsi with 1.3 firmware, but i dont know about the european.

guess this story about blocking the ak2i was all a joke

Havent tried to update the firmware yet, don't know if I should try it...?

It works on a Euro DSi, I just tested it today

Works with AKAIO also. So nothing to worry about, at least not yet.

Actually I got my DSi a week ago already, but got the Ak2i from Dealextreme today.

Thanks ! Having given my cousin's 5 year old son an Acekard 2i for his birthday in anticipation of his DSi which he'll be getting in the next day or so, this is such good news ! (I had warned about potential incompatability but she decided it was worth the risk.)

I will sleep better tonight knowing a 5 year old isn't going to be disappointed.
