+1 Babylon 5 (rather old, but to me far more interesting than star trek)
+1 Breaking bad (great characters, interesting plot)
+1 Firefly (why am I the first one to vote for this? Its space cowboy theme is awesome, acting is top notch)
+1 Game of thrones (best series ever)
+1 house of cards (Kevin Spacey)
+1 Mr. Robot (a must watch for anyone who even remotely liked fight club...or computers)
+1 Revolution (a world without electricity...not as interesting and with more action than I'd hoped, but certainly not bad)
+1 the leftovers (a strange one: 2% of the population has vanished...and that has a major impact on how everyone else deals with it. Not for optimists)
