Gaming Error Code 13204

Hey guys, I was trying to set up Game Sync on my DSi in Pokemon Black. I keep receiving the Error Code: 13204.
I looked it up and it says:-

"Error Code: 13204
The Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection is currently experiencing problems due to a high amount of players, or is temporarily down. Please try again later."

So, Am I just supposed to keep waiting? Or is there something I can do?

I read somewhere that it only happens on pirated/downloaded games.

It doesn't. I know plenty of people who've played Pokémon B/W on flashcards and were able to connect to Wi-Fi just fine.

That, and OP never mentioned a flashcard.

I have an original copy of Pokemon Black Version & Pokemon White Version and I keep getting this same error on my Original Copy and I think it's fucked up that Flash Cart users can get on Global Link I really think this is a server issue and some people can't get on but on the other hand people can get on with no problem so it's Nintendo's Fault not mine!

hi to let you know had the same error 13204 it is just that the servers are busy have just synced my pokemon white go and try it now hope this helps if not keep trying

I had this issue, too. I backup my save file every week or so, so I tried using a week-old save file, and it worked. I'm pretty sure error 13204 can also have something to do with a corrupt save or using particular AR cheats.

Yes, i use a flashcard. I discovered that the problem happens when you use AR cheats. Mainly the Fill Pokedex one. And therefore the only fix is to restart. =\
