I tried to install a Xenoblade Chronicles CIA a while back and it didn't install. I thought I just got a bad CIA, so I just stopped trying, I didn't mind too much that I didn't get to play it. I tried again through using install mode in CIAngel. That failed, but I left it alone so I don't know exactly what happened. When looking through the EShop, I saw that I managed to install a ticket to Xenoblade Chronicles, so I tried to install it. I'm now getting error 005-8034. I've gotten this twice while trying to download this game from the eshop. Does anybody know why this happens, or how to fix it?

There's practically nothing for that error code, but it could be something to do with an out of region CIA maybe. I don't really know what it could be other than that, and CIAngel shows you the region you're downloading. You could always try downloading the CIA from CIAngel overnight, and installing it the next day from FBI or something. Hope you figure out a solution!

My best guess is you have a bad ticket on your system. You'll need to go in to FBI (The latest version), go to the Tickets submenu, and find the titleid of the game you're trying to download. You'll then press "A" on it, and select Delete Ticket. After you've done that, try redownloading in CIAngel (Or reinstalling with FBI, if you already have the CIA from CIAngel saved), and see if it works now.

I think magical sheep is right. I had the same issue for a bit when I first installed ciangel because apparently the cia I installed previously of that game was from a different region and I had both tickets installed for it. After deleting both tickets and installing the good ticket from ciangel fixed it and I was able to download from eshop.

Having multiple region tickets installed shouldn't be an issue (I commonly download multiple regions of a game when I'm testing bugs for people). The actual issue is most often caused by having an existing "bad" ticket installed for the title.

Are you sure you deleted the correct ticket in FBI?

That is probably true but I had downloaded the ticket from ciangel so I doubt it was a bad ticket, that day in order to make it work I had to delete all the tickets that dealt with that game and cias. The dirty dlc+update and both versions of the game. It could have been a bad ticket I suppose, it was in the early days of cia angel.

Yup, but i tried this (same you suggest but stopping the download):

>Download from eshop
>See the pending title with FBI
>Stop the download from eshop
>Delete the ticket
>Import ticket with QR from shameless
>Download directly from CDN with FBI

And the game donwloaded correctly. So, ty Drakia.

Tickets aren't removed when you do system formats, so if you had previously installed that game on your 3DS, ever, you could have been sitting on a bad ticket from that point onwards.

Yea I know, it be cool if the program would replace tickets but I think I read somewhere it wasn't doable. Well have a nice day/night.
