Gaming Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion 1up Review

I'm posting this here because I found it to be quite interesting. A lot of reviews of this seem to indicate the same general feeling of "meh" towards the game (however it's doing better than the console games) and to be honest look at footage I kinda feel the same.

I've recently gone through the games this is inspired by and well they've not aged as well as other platformers from that era that is for sure! Another case of nostalgia over actual content.

To be honest, I agree with them. I tried out the demo, and it really did feel bland. And the switching of top and bottom screen was just horrible.

I admit that the drawing minigames are lame. But I think it's a passable game. It's no Henry Hatsworth, like the comic explains, nor is it Monster Tale calibre, but I do like it.
